How to track a URL value coming from Feild Merge

Hello everyone,

I wanted to show the product page URL to each customers, using the Field merge (<span class=eloquaemail>URL</span>) since each URL will be different for each customer I am using the fieldmerge.

Though it is redirecting to the URL, the clicks is not tracking since this is not the landing page.

I even tried adding the FM in the redirect links it is not saving since it doesn't support the format(<span>...<span>)

I even used the Field merge in the link format (~~eloqua..type--emailfield..syntax--URL) is not fetching values from the CDO.
