An employee can belong to more than one OTL HCM group

Hello experts,

I have a doubt about OTL HCM groups membership.
As the documentation stated:
Create groups of people with similar characteristics using the Manage HCM Groups task. A group might have a fixed number of people or you might update the members on a defined basis. An employee can belong to more than one HCM group.

I have a question, if an employee can belong to more than one group (and has different timecards layouts) how system would address this situation?

As far as I understand an employee can have only one time card layout for a certain period and it is possible to have two partial time cards in case of employemnt changes. But the point is that our customer considers that certain employees should be part of two HCM groups permanently.

Howdy, Stranger!
