Pending Approvals of Terminating Manager

Summary

Pending Approvals of Terminating Manager

Content

Hi Experts,

This is about the process “Reassign Pending Approvals for Terminations and Correct Invalid Supervisor Assignments”

Manager M1 has direct reports and has pending approval transactions of those directs in his queue. M1 reports to M2.

M1 was terminated.

  1. If I understand correctly this process will reassign the directs of M1 and also the pending approvals from M1’s queue to M2 ?
  2. Will the approval transaction have any history that M1 was skipped and now M2 is the new approver?
  3. As soon as a new Manager is hired in M1 position, the directs which moved one level up, now move back to M1?

Howdy, Stranger!
