    Checking Manager Assignment Status before triggering approval

    Currently using Position Sync, if you are Manager M1 with Directs and M1 reports to M2. M2 has 2 people already sitting as M2A and M2B.

    If M1 is terminated, system moves M1s directs to position M2. Since M2 already has 2 incumbents, it maps the directs to the oldest incumbent in M2. This is seeded functionality. Now let’s say M2A is the oldest incumbent. If M2A is on Inactive Assignment/ LOA status can we check the status of his assignment before the approval is triggered and instead of sending it to M2A it sends it to M2B. Is it possible to do this from an Approvals POV?
