ASO Allocations intermittently going Negative

I've raised an SR about this - but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen it in the wild. 

Basically I've got an ASO allocation rule that has a stored source member and pre-calculated distribution rates. It's a really dumb allocation rule using stored percentages.

Very very rarely (<1%) of the runs result in the distributed data being correct EXCEPT it's sign flipped. Immediately rerunning the rule fixes the problem.

The 'interesting' bit of this - there is literally no mechanism that I can identify that would allow either the source member OR the distribution rates to go negative. It's almost like I'm getting a reversing slice in the database rather than the actual number.
