By all means, the following list is incomplete, and it covers the most common errors observed by Eloqua Salesforce integration users.

INVALID_CROSS_REFERENCE_KEY

The specified value in a related field is not valid, or data is not of the expected type. For example, when we are exporting activities for a specific contact, however, that lead/contact is not present in SFDC.
CANNOT_UPDATE_CONVERTED_LEAD

When you convert a lead to a contact, account, or opportunity, it cannot be updated as it does not exist anymore. Please use the imports to sync the conversion status to Eloqua.
