Learning completion after ILT date has passed

Can you add a user and mark complete days after class has passed

Good morning,

Does the system allow admin to add additional learners to an ILT class and mark them as complete days later? When I tried this, the mark completed is grayed out and will not allow me to do it. Example - we have walk-ins or those that do not register in advance and we want to ensure they receive credit on attending.
