Oracle European Union Sovereign Cloud Overview

Oracle European Union (EU) Sovereign Cloud or OSC is an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offering designed to address the data privacy and sovereignty requirements of the EU. OSC provides customers with infrastructure cloud service offerings similar to those in a commercial OCI region, but with the following unique features:

  • OSC does not share resources with OCI public cloud regions but instead is physically and logically isolated via a dedicated OCI realm.
  • OSC services are all located within the European Union member states.
  • OSC is operated by Oracle EU-based personnel.
