Requirement to have multi level category Hierarchy for Functional Catalog

Summary:

We are working on a project to migrate from EBS to Oracle Fusion and one of the requirement is to have multiple level Category Hierarchy for Functional area catalogs in Fusion to replicate the segments in EBS.

Has anyone come across a requirement to have multi level Hierarchy for Functional area catalogs? How did you tackle this?
