Can the user type in Single Approval action be customized for Supplier reg. approval?

For Supplier Registration Approval (Internal/External), while defining the action one can define the workflow to route to a single approver as Supplier Manager, Supplier Administrator or a Worker.

Is it possible to create custom roles and have the workflow route to the custom roles based on certain conditions?
