Skipping middle approver of the approval flow

Summary:

For leave request the approval flow is :

Direct Manager -> Position: Director of Organization Development and Excellence -> Position: CEO

If Director Manager and CEO is the same Person then the flow is skipping middle approver.

step 1: Employee who is direct report of CEO submits leave request.

step 2: Direct Manager received notification to Approve or Reject. Direct Manager Who is also CEO approves.

After approving or rejecting, the notification is not vanishing. The approval process moved to next level and assigned to Director of Organization Development and Excellence, but still the notification is visible for CEO (i.e. Direct manager).

Howdy, Stranger!
