Price Index/Increase opening cost for DORC and Deprival registers

We have defined/created the Price index using the link https://docs.oracle.com/cd/A60725_05/html/comnls/us/fa/indexes.htm.

Also, advise the customer to follow this, but our customer has the below questions,


1) I want the WDV from Jun23 to become my indexed opening value for Jul23. Shall I enter this value in Jul23 month only or in each month of FY2024? Also, do I enter as 7% or 0.07?


2) I need to apply the indexed price to the whole register. Do I need to map the price index to each category one by one or is there a way to do it to all of them at once?
