Issues with Pipelines

I am experimenting with Pipelines to replace some manual processes around loading employee metadata/data and running into issues with the Pipeline editor.

I am working on building a Pipeline to replace an involved monthly manual effort and to get some practice with Pipelines. For this process, we use a single file from the inbox to drive both our metadata loads and data loads. As such, I would like to select that file once upon Pipeline execution and have it passed to the relevant Tasks in the Pipeline. So, I created a variable called "SOURCE_FILE":
