Standard Cost Update Impact on Partial Receipt Global PO

edited Aug 9, 2023 9:48AM in Costing 3 comments

Summary:

Hi Gurus,

Recently in our project we've been testing how standard cost update will impact the cost accounting for partial receipt Global Purchase Order, yet the test result is a little bit confusing, we might need so explanation on some of the adjustment distribution to better understand how system works.

Below here are some backgrounds of this test:

Our customer is located in US(US USD BU), and is procuring goods from suppliers in China through an internal trading company located in Singapore(SG USD BU), which charges 20% PO amount markups against US headquarters(This has been set up on the pricing rule on the financial orchestration and in cost component mapping group we mapped the transfer_price with an overhead called 'Markup'), now customer uses standard costing method in system.

Howdy, Stranger!
