Fusion Manufacturing - Upload of Backdated Work Defintions

Summary:

We are looking at the feasibility to upload Work Definitions into Oracle Fusion Applications for a specific business scenario as detailed below. Thru a SR Oracle has updated that uploading backdated Work Definitions is not feasible - However, we are seeking some inputs for any alternative mechanism thru which this requirement can be addressed.

Business Scenario:

The Financial Year of the Company (engaged in the manufacture and sale of drugs and pharmaceuticals)  is a period of 12 months  from 01st July to 30th June of the following year. The company follows “Standard Costing” for valuation of all Inventory Items. Every year, the Item Standard Costs are reviewed thoroughly as a part of the corporate planning process and new Item Costs are ‘Published’ effective 01st July of the new Financial Year. Kindly note that the company proposes to use “Cost Rollup” for the purpose of rolling up costs of all “Manufactured” Items
