This is a primer on the Suggested Buyer feature available in Self Service Procurement.

Concept:

A suggested buyer is the buyer that the user can choose to assign on  a requisition line. This is the buyer that then gets used to process the purchase order (Every purchase order needs a buyer to complete order processing). Remember that if a requisition line contains a suggested buyer, then when the requisition is converted to an order, that line is not going to run through the buyer assignment process again.
