Absence balance deduction issue

Summary:

Hi Experts,

Here is the business requirement, could someone help us to achieve the business requirement.

Absence Plan is active from 01/01/2023 and employee enrollment date is. 01/01/2023.

Implementation team has loaded the absence balance for 2022 and Employee balance is 30 days as of 31/12//2022.

Employee Applied leave 26/12/22 to 10/01/23. Total duration is 12 days.

Client wants to deduct the 12 days from last year balance only not from 2023-year balance.

So., can we write FF to achieve the requirement.
