Expected time of Arrival for Procured Items

We have a business scenario where, once the goods have been shipped by the supplier, the ownership is transferred to the customer. In this case, we do what we call "first phase receiving" where the items are received in an in-transit inventory. Now the items are in-transit, but the final ETA is unknown. The transportation times can be as large as 6 months. During this in-transit period, the client updates the ETA of these items multiple times, using a customization in EBS. This ETA is interfaced to their current planning system.

We wanted to check if there's a similar functionality in Oracle Cloud, where we can update ETA of goods continuously, till the items are received. We already explored ASN where the ETA can be updated regularly, but the ASN cannot be updated once the items have been received, so it doesn't satisfy the requirement where "first phase receiving" as described above is required for these items.

Howdy, Stranger!
