Tip Tuesday - 23C Release Tips & Considerations

1. Prior to Oracle CPQ 23C, Oracle Fusion CRM part administrators maintained Product Hub credentials within the PIM tab of their My Profile page. In Oracle CPQ 23C, the entry and maintenance of those credentials is moved to the Integration Center. Therefore, the PIM tab within the My Profile page is removed. •
2. In 23C, the mapping of parts data is predefined in Fusion. In order to modify this mapping, a new mapping needs to be defined in Fusion. CPQ Admins must update the Mapping ID, in Configuration Settings.
3. Parts that were synchronized from PIM will be read-only in CPQ. Changes must be performed in the Product Master. You can still create additional parts, in CPQ.
