We would need an alternate approach to submit more than two concurrent absences together.
Summary:
In AlixPartners, we have a requirement to submit two different concurrent absence i.e; Short Term Disability and Paid Time Off absences during the period of FMLA absence submitted by employee.
Example:
- FMLA Absence date: 1st Aug 2023 - 23rd Oct 2023 (12 weeks)
- Short Term Disability: 1st Aug 2023 - 25 Sep 2023 at 100% pay. (8 weeks of FMLA + STD)
- (Short Term Disability: 25th Sep 2023 to 23rd Oct 2023 at 60% pay & Paid Time Off: 25th Sep to 23rd Oct 2023 at 40% pay) (Last 4 weeks of FMLA+ STD+PTO)
We would need some suggestion to implement FMLA when the short-term disability and Paid Time Off absence can be applied concurrently along with
