Invalid Intersections using dimensions that exist in only one cube cause issues in other cubes

We implemented invalid intersections in our custom Projects cube. This says that specific members in Plan Element (the trending members) cannot be used with specific members in "Expenditure Type". Expenditure Type is a dimension that only exists in Projects.

In Financials, this causes the issue that no one can enter data at those Trend Plan Element members for any of the accounts.


We confirmed this by disabling the invalid intersection, and all trends are able to be entered in financials. then when we enabled it and refreshed the form, all points of entry were blocked.


Is this a bug? Is there a way to apply these invalid intersections by cube?
