how to restrict approvals upto certain job level while using job level?

Summary:

Hi Team,

We have implemented job level hierarchy in order to meet approval requirements.

However we noticed that Job Level Manager hierarchy is not respecting approval limit as expected

Please find below detailed explanation for the same.

Hierarchies

Hierarchy 1: Job Level 1 > Job Level 2 > Job Level 3 > Job Level 4 > Job Level 5

Hierarchy 2: Job Level 1 > Job Level 3 > Job Level 4 > Job Level 5

*Please Note that for business reasons, a user/job with a Job Level of 2 does not exist in the second hierarchy

Please find below Approval Limits used to derive approvals.

Workflows between 0 and 50000 are automatically approved

Workflows between 50000 and 100000: Must be approved by a user with a job level of 2
