How to run enrollment on retro dates for inactive assignments

We are trying to populate and calculate accruals for employees present in the organization by using an enrollment start date formula.
When we try manually through UI, we are able to enroll the employees in previously eligible plan on inactive assignments and run calculate their accruals through the UI route. So the ask is how do we schedule the calculate accruals process for bulk inactive assignments.
We will be using enrollment start date formula to specifically identify if there had been any changes in employee assignment and then assign the enrollment start date accordingly.
