Restrict Escalation of the notification to specific users

Summary:

We have a requirement that if escalation rule is set let's say up to 2 levels and following is the hierarchy.

for eg. The hierarchy is A->B->C if approval is pending with employee C then as per escalation rule it moves to employee B the notification remains pending with employee B as well and as per approval rule the notification should move to employee A. Employee A is the one for whom the escalation rule should not be triggered, i.e. the notification should not go to Employee A. Is there any feature in Oracle which can stop escalation notification to employees with specific roles/job?
