Load work definition through FBDI without adding component details

We are using FBDI to load new work definitions (WD) - Process manufacturing. 

Before loading WD, Item structure for FG items were created in Oracle cloud. 

In FBDI template, we have provided Item structure name (primary) in the header tab.  Is it required to include the components in the 'Operation Items' tab?  Whether component details will be pulled from the item structure directly?

Currently, we are entering component details in FBDI template 'Operation Items' tab and loading the WD.

Please let us know if we can avoid entering component details again (to avoid duplicate effort) in FBDI template, as we would have uploaded details in item structure already.
