Absence Approval Rules config based on if absence occurred +/- 30 days ago

Summary:

Absence Approvals need to be routed according to if the employee submits an absence that occurred more or less than 30 days ago.

Content (required):

We have a requirement where some of our Absence approval rules need to be routed for approval (and not auto approved) when employees submit an Absence that has occurred more than 30 days ago. If the Absence Type occurred less than 30 days ago, then it needs to auto approve.

We need to include a clause in those specific rules stating that:

  • If an employee submits an absence that occurred more than 30 days ago, the submission needs to be routed to an approver.
