diagram component -data from rest service

I need to to use a diagram component ,

that the data will be the data i gt from rest service,

somehow ,

the only way i have saw to use the diagram component is to add the data in javascript,

and i cannot send th data to it from the rest,

do you have a btter way to use the diagram component,

or -even better how to use the hirarchy component
