How to mass delete personal information

Summary:

I need to know how to delete employee personal information. As this data should not have been recorded in the first place, all elements of it are required to be removed.

We initially attempted to delete the data using HSDL, however we received the error message “you can’t delete this legislative information because the person has had work relationships with legal employers in this country”. This suggests to us that without removing the person from MyHR completely, the data cannot be deleted. Is this correct?

We found that certain parts of the requirement can be deleted (religion or belief, ethnicity, disability info, workplace adaption, workplace adjustment) using HSDL. We also found that certain data can be sent to blank via HSDL (sexual orientation, gender identity, trans status, reservist, community background, trade unions, marital status) however this does not meet the requirement as the data is still present in historical rows.
