How to calculate number of periods based on the start date & end date of a GL Period

Hello experts,

I have a requirement to calculate the number of periods for a particular Invoice Multiperiod Accounting dates mapped to.

For example, if the multiperiod accounting start date and end date is as per below screenshot, the expectation is to get period count as 6. As the start date is in June-23 & end date is Dec-23. I tried with mapping start & end dates with GL_PERIODS table to get the period name or period_num and trying out basic formulas but that doesn't work and not providing me expected result.

Can any one help me on this.
