How to find the response/ Status code of a API call

Hi Team,
We are currently using 3rd party application to upload time entries to the fusion environment, through the REST API call time entries are getting transferred. Once the API call is completed it sends a response to the 3rd party application and according to the response upload status will update in that system(3rd Party). But the team working related to the time data in that 3rd party system claims that the correct responses are not coming to their end but the time cards are getting created with the uploaded data, because of the incorrect statuses they are uploading same file again,
