As in Process for Coil definition:-

Steel coils are procured from various sources and undergo a slitting process at the manufacturing facility. Further denominations of steel rolls are painted with colors and different items are created in PDH ( for example “X001RED” , “X001BLUE” , “X001WHITE”…..etc )

Requirement:-

Businesses want to use the single-item code for denominations (mentioned above) as the master item definition. ( for example “X001” ). Color can be used as additional information.

 Business is also using work order, structures for these items. These items are lot-enabled items.
