Mass changes in Work defination

Hi everyone,

Is there way where we can update work defination in single click.

Requirement is that user need to update items in work defination, now there are number of defination there where changes are requried, so is there way user can update in single click.

We have tried from option - Manage work defination from Spreadsheet, when replacing new item from old one system throws error and shows -

You can not assign (item name) with ad hock item indecator as no. the item is not a componenet of structure.
