Existing Reservation Removed following Partial Shipment

Hi,

I have created a sales order with 6 Qty for an item. Ran the Pick release and this is the reservation after running the pick release. Total 6 Quantities available in the reservation table


Then I did a partial shipment. Confirmed only 2 Qty and shipped 2 Qyt (Shipped 2 Qty). Sales order line splitted in to two lines as below.

When I checked the reservation table, no reservation exist after the partial shipment. What happens to the balance Qty of 4 which was available earlier. Is this expected or a bug?
