Update Project Forecast Using Spreadsheet for Multiple Projects

Is there a workaround that allows to use the update forecast ADFDI (export option from project forecast record) to update forecast for multiple projects? We know that we can use the export to excel option and then the ADFDI opens and we can update and load the lines back but we need the functionality to do it for multiple projects at once, not on a project by project basis. The existing FBDI allows to create forecast records but not to update existing ones.
