Oracle Social Network End of Life Announcement

Beginning with Fusion Applications Update 24C, Oracle will retire Oracle Social Network (OSN), which was previously accessible from many Fusion Applications.

Who is affected?

Beginning with Fusion Applications Update 24C, OSN will no longer be available for use. This will affect all customers using OSN with Fusion Applications, including Supply Chain, ERP, HCM, and Procurement.

While there is no Oracle replacement planned for OSN in Fusion Applications, many customers already use messaging applications such as Microsoft Teams. Later this year, a sample solution that demonstrates how to integrate Fusion Applications with Microsoft Teams will be made available. Customers can choose to implement this custom solution to integrate Fusion Applications with their existing Microsoft Teams implementation. This will include sample code that customers can leverage to implement a solution more quickly.
