Summary:

We need to be able to renew expired subscriptions through CPQ to keep customer billing, otherwise they will no longer bill despite having all assets installed/active. Currently if the existing subscription is expired CPQ > SM Integration will fail and the subscription will not be created.


What we are currently doing as a workaround which is NOT ideal, is manually renew the expired subscription in SM for 12 months (we cannot currently manually renew for 1 month, this “renew to evergreen” feature is to be released by Oracle in 23A), push the quote through again, and even then the subscription will populate but without many critical data points, such as:
