Due date block if we are placing an offer before the end of the term

we carry out training assignments to the members and even so they are not able to complete the training, as there is a duplicate line in the assignments as if the member had completed the training on the date on which we carried out the assignment.

"The team has found that for the course record in no active offering status there is a prior record for the same learning that has a completed status (the valid till expiration date it for 2023-10-27). There is a renewal enabled for the learning. so when a new record was created with the No active offering status (looks like it was done by HDL), it was set with assigned on date for this new record as 2022-10-27. This assigned on date should have been in future and not for 2022 as that is last year.
