Unable to view Items created in Supplier Portal

I am unable to search for an item that has been successfully imported from the Supplier Portal in the View Items section. Despite supplier creating the item, the search function does not yield any results.

The supplier user has following roles assigned and has been included in Item class security with necessary privileges.

Supplier Product Administrator

Supplier Product Design Engineer

Note : Product Development is not in the scope. This has to be achieved only through Product Information Management system.
