Project Team Members - End date of project team role of the employee after his termination date

Summary:

We have noticed that it is possible to set project role end date to be later than employee's termination date. Is this intentional and if so what is the logic behind it? Start date out of employment period gives an error, why does not it happen with end date?

An example of a situation that is possible in the system:

• Hire date of the employee: 01.01.2022
• Termination date of the employee: 31.12.2022
• Start date of the employee's project role: 01.07.2022
• End date of the employee's project role: 01.07.2023 (The employee has been inactive for half a year)

Should not the latest allowable end date for a user's project role be equal to the termination date?
