For any offers drafted for internal employees,We need to calculate and default the totalcompensation

Summary:

For any offers drafted for internal employees:

When there is an offer generated for internal employees, we need to calculate the total compensation % increase. This can be achieved using the formula below. The reason why we need the total comp % increase is because if the new total compensation is over 10% then we need additional approvals on that offer.

From what we gather, this cannot be done within the approval workflow due to the lack of information present within the rule itself. The best path we landed on was to use autocomplete rules within the offer process. The rule will default the % increase into a flex field in the offer details when the offer is drafted. Then we can leverage that flex field to call out in the approval workflow rule to route for additional approvals.

Howdy, Stranger!
