How to create updateable table

Summary:

How can i create a table with headers only that is capable of accepting new inputs which will appear as line items (Row) similar to what we have when creating sales order.

Content (required):

Basically i want to create a blank table which will contain headers like Item Name, quantity, amount and description and users can add items to the table. Every item added will show up as a line item on a single row.
