Resource and components are not changing in process manufacturing work definition as per item BOM

Summary:

We have created an item with BOM structure where there are 3 components of 2kg each for the item.

We created process manufacturing work definition for this item and assigned the components as 2kg each as per item BOM in the operation step and gave the primary output quantity of the same item as 100. As per our understanding, the components should have multiplied 100 times to 200kg each for 100 quantity of primary output. Instead the system interprets the work definition as 2kg each of components is utilized to produce 100 quantity of primary output. We trying this because we want a work definition were batch quantity is 1 and primary output quantity is 100.
