We want to restrict the workschedule assignment based on Start Date of Work Schedule

Hi Team we have a requirement where we want to retrict assigning of Work schedule based on the selection of start date of that work schedule.

For Example: If the HR enters start date as 1st of July , they should be able to submit that work schdule

But if they are selecting 1st of August as Work schdule start date on Work Schedule assignment page than they will get an error.

Another project has implemented this by applying a groovy script on Start date of Work schedule page.

Please let me know if anyone has come across such requirements or any ideas on the same.
