Automatic movement of direct reports using position synchronization

Hi,

we are creating a scenario where we want direct reports to move based on position synchronization.

for instance we position department leader ( occupied by Mr. A) and another position HR Manager ( occupied by Mr. B). HR Manager position reports to Department Leader position in HCM Position Hierarchy.

We performed the transaction where we shifted Mr. B to Department Leader Position and Mr. A to another position. In this case we are expecting Direct reports of Mr. A must move under Mr. B.

however, we do not see that happening. We run the process - Synchronize Person Assignments from Position
