Can we Hide Approval button in Bell notification icon alone?

Hi All,


We have a requirement for resignation transaction, if an approval is sent for Manager/HRBP they should not be directly approving the transaction from bell notification rather they should edit the transaction to update few other mandatory columns and then approve it. We were able to hide approve button but when they edit and submit it is throwing an error.


Wanted to understand, is there a way we can achieve this or not possible?
