How can I create an EFF attribute in order to default the expenditure type?

Summary:

I would to save in an EFF attribute the expenditure type value dafaulting from the master data item in the Inventory tab.

Basically, once i assign the Default Expenditure Type in the Inventory Tab, I would to save it in one EFF attribute.

Any suggestion to implement it?
