How to set up a master item organization (MIO) for several business units?

Summary:I have inventory organizations in different business units belonging to a single legal entity and a single ledger. How should I configure a single OMA so that when I create requisitions or purchase orders for the different business units the items created in the single OMA will be visible and selected.
