Position synchronization issue: Position DFF is not reflecting at Assignment page

There is a requirement to put additional DFF at position page which should flow to assignment page. I have created a position DFF at position level but it's not reflecting back at assignment page. I have updated position synchronization at enterprise level and also at LE level and then scheduled process "Synchronize Person Assignments from Position" was run at LE level with past period to be considered as 1 day but still the DFF is not showing in assignment page. Could anyone provide a suggestion on this? Also Will this going to create additional synchronization with position record?
