absence api takes too long

Summary:

I am using the absence API to create leave of absence. It is working as expected, however it is taking too long to execute approximately 25 secs. I am suspecting the API is validating the request like if there is sufficient balance, or if the request is within the work days etc.

Is there a way to find out why this API is taking too long to execute.
