Assigning person number on worker record while creating users

We are in the process of implementing Oracle Cloud GL and most of the EPM modules. Currently, after we create a user account we are creating corresponding person record for our users, we noticed that system is assigning a sequence number as their person number. We would like to know if we would run into any issues with this system generated person number in future if we decided to go with other Oracle cloud modules like Purchasing, Accounts Payables, etc. where these person numbers becomes critical for approval hierarchies and other business flows.
